Parent Support Group

The Parent Support Group started in 2022.  It's a weekly group, in a relaxed environment, that allows parents to support each other in their journey with the Child Welfare System.  Parents are in all stages of the reunification process and do not need to be a client of FSA to join groups. It's a judgement free zone.   The group is facilitated by Shelly Wilson, who provides education on Anger Management, Boundaries, Parenting, Self-Care, Healthy Relationships, and more.  Certificates are provided upon attendance of four (4) groups.

Wednesday 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Virtual - online

Please contact Shelly Wilson

A Woman Within

The Women's Group is women learning about the importance of self-care.  Through a guided journey, women learn ways to care for themselves, relieving stressors, embracing who they are, and quieting the inner harsh critic as they center and recognize their value.

Foster & Adoptive Families Support Group

The Child Welfare System relies heavily on foster families to support their mandate of keeping children safe, in cases of abuse and neglect when children have been removed from their parent/caregiver.  All too often there is a divide between parents/caregivers, the Child Welfare Worker, and the foster families.  FSA is supporting parents/caregivers and the Foster Care community that cares for the families we serve, with a Foster Care Support Group.
